Register for the Science Festival SciFest! 

Uppsala University and SLU will arrange SciFest at Fyrishov, Uppsala, September 21-23th . Please register no later than June 12th. You can also sign up for a workshop led by museum Educators on May 8th.

What is SciFest? 

It is a science festival focusing on the interaction between researchers and young people. Participants will learn more about research with the help of games, experiments, quizzes, competitions or other activities where visitors can touch, smell, listen and experience. SciFest has in the past attracted up to 8500 visitors. 

Who is our target audience?  

On Thursday and Friday, school students and their teachers attend. Saturday is open to the public and it usually attracts many families with children. 

Who can participate?  

You and your colleagues of course! SciFest is a unique opportunity to share insights on research. All you need is an interesting and fun activity - history has shown Uppsala's researchers to be quite inventive! You will get help from the SciFest team to develop your activity. So, gather a few colleagues and sign up. Particularly for the younger participants it’s important that someone involved in the activity can communicate effectively in Swedish.
